We really enjoyed the welcoming staff and homely feel of the hotel, which was a perfect escape from the busy city. The tea and coffee with ginger biscuits were a nice touch upon arrival, followed by helpful advice from the friendly staff about things to do in the surrounding area. The shared areas were fantastic, with stunning views of the mountains and a perfect place to relax with a book or tea.

The room was damp and had a musty smell, which detracted from our stay. Despite this, we enjoyed the meals, although they were a bit pricey compared to other options in the area.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the owner took the time to personally greet me and offer tea and biscuits. The breakfast included in the price was excellent, and I enjoyed the selection of Sri Lankan dishes for dinner. The views from the lodge were outstanding, and I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel.
